Davidson College basketball coach Bob McKillop was pouring drinks at Flatiron Kitchen + Taphousein downtown Davidson Thursday night.
He was the latest celebrity bartender in Flatiron’s ongoing fundraising series, with proceeds benefiting Ada Jenkins Center, the regional community services center on Davidson’s west side. Read the full story

Hundreds of residents, Davidson College athletics officials and uniformed athletes gathered Saturday afternoon on the Village Green for the annual Fan Day – and the unveiling of a new design for the college’s Wildcat logo. The new logo resembles the previous one, which has been used since 1994. But it’s cleaner, more graphical and, college officials said, easier to reproduce.

What was former Davidson College basketball star Stephen Curry doing in a cap and gown Sunday, posing with his former coach, Bob McKillop?
Ask Bryant Barr, Mr. Curry’s former roommate and fellow Class of 2010 member of the Davidson College basketball team.
“We had lunch at coach’s house after graduation with the seniors, Steph, and our families. He was wearing my cap and gown in the picture,” Mr. Barr said Monday. Read the full story

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Will Archambault led the Wildcats with 21 points, and Jake Cohen added 20 points and seven rebounds as Davidson opened its Southern Conference schedule with a 74-63 victory over The Citadel at McAlister Field House Thursday night.

Keith Cothran netted 19 points to lead Rhode Island to a 75-65 men’s basketball victory over Davidson in John M. Belk Arena Saturday afternoon. Also Saturday, the Davidson women’s basketball team lost to Monmouth, 46-43, at the UNC Wilmington Invitational.
