Davidson Commissioners are expect to vote Tuesday on the proposed $9.36 million town budget for 2014-15, which leaves property taxes unchanged, increases storm water fees and reduces some trash pickup fees. The board also is scheduled to vote on a $22,500 budget amendment for a new dance-themed public art sculpture next to Town Hall.
The board also will vote on two appointments to the MI-Connection Communications System Board of Directors and on an update to the affordable housing ordinance. For the latter, the board will consider adopting a proposal to give developers a discount in the payments that some make instead of building affordable housing units as required under town rules.
