Brooks helps Cats finish off App State, 83-79

Sophomore forward De’Mon Brooks scored the last seven points in a decisive 10-0 run late in the game as Davidson topped Appalachian State 83-79 in a Southern Conference men’s basketball contest Saturday afternoon in the Holmes Center. Wildcat men and women grab wins at home

Davidson College’s women’s and men’s basketball teams played a double-header on Monday night, and both came away with wins. The women beat Gardner Webb, 67-46, while the men pulled away in the middle of the game to beat Presbyterian, 68-54.
