The town of Davidson soon will begin replacing the aging pedestrian walkway along Griffith Street at Roosevelt Wilson Park in a $76,000 project paid for through a combination of town funds and a grant from the charitable foundation of Mooresville-based Lowe’s Corp.
The town announced Tuesday that Lowe’s Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has provide a grant of $25,000 to help pay for the bridge. The town also has $51,000 for the project in its 2012-2013 budget. Read the full story
