Antique cars decorated for the season and members of the Hopewell High School Marching Band (left) were among dozens of units in the 25th annual North Meck Christmas Parade Saturday. The route took marchers from Main Street Davidson south on Hwy. 115 to Cornelius. The parade was interrupted for about 30 minutes when a clown fell off her bicycle near Fuel Pizza and suffered knee injuries that required medical attention. Contributing to the delay was a man whom police called “an irate citizen,” who got into and moved the ambulance that responded. Police said the man was issued two citations.
