And then there were two. Zi Yang and Pablo Zevallos out polled Richard Hendrix, Parker Murphy, and Wade Leach in Monday’s vote for Davidson College student body president, and moved on to a runoff election Wednesday. Voting will take place by email between 10am and 10pm.

CORNELIUS – It’s a new year, with new faces on area town boards. Five newly installed town commissioners from the Lake Norman area introduced themselves and their concerns to business leaders Friday at the Lake Norman Chamber’s monthly Focus Friday issues session, and regional cooperation was a major theme, along with quality of life.
