I-77 southbound in Mooresville was shut down for several hours Thursday night after a wreck involving two tractor-trailers.
The wreck happened around 6pm just north of I-77 Exit 31 at Langtree Road. The NC DOT reported that the road was open again around 9pm.
No further details were immediately available.

The Davidson Elementary Tiger and the Cornelius Elementary Cougar are among the mascots from local elementary schools that will be in Davidson for Saturday night’s Schoolhouse Rock & Run 10K and 1-mile fun run. The race is a fundraiser for E2D, Eliminate the Digital Divide, which is supplying computers to un-wired families in the two towns.
