Police on Monday searched six homes in the River Run and St. Alban’s neighborhoods, on Pat Stough Lane and in Huntersville as part of their investigation into a Dec. 5 incident on Pat Stough Lane that left a local 16-year-old critically injured. They seized evidence in all but one home, mainly computers and cell phones they hope will offer clues about how the boy was hurt during a late-night party at the home.
In search warrants issued early Monday, Davidson police said there were “inconsistencies” in statements by witnesses and evidence found at the home on Dec. 5. Among investigators’ questions is whether the boy fell from a second-floor window – as witnesses reported – or whether he was hurt some other way. Read the full story
