About a month ago, I started to investigate the process of switching my TV, phone, and internet service from Dish Network and AT&T to our local, government-owned cable service, MI-Connection. After convincing myself that the costs were very similar, I decided to subscribe to Extended Basic TV service, 8/1 internet service, and phone service at a cost of $138 per month, plus installation and equipment.
