Downtown Davidson insurance agency J.J. Wade & Associates is moving into its new home this weekend, in the newly constructed Mooney’s Corner building on South Main Street, next to Town Hall. The $2.7 million, 4-story building at 212 S. Main St. is right next door Wade’s former office in the historic building at 208 S. Main.
Wade will occupy most of the building, including the ground floor. Meanwhile, the owner of the historic building next door is now looking for tenants.
See previous stories about the new building’s construction under the “Mooney’s Corner” tag.

The new office building has one of the best views of Main Street, from an upper floor balcony. JJ Wade’s Garrett Droege (right) was up there Saturday with his wife, Abbey (left), daughter Lennon, 2, and son Henry, 5. (James Sanders photo)
