Mary Catherine Davis McClelland Ford died peacefully at Schramm Health Center at The Pines at Davidson, on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. She was 84.
She was born January 10, 1926 in Charlotte, NC to Luther B. Davis and Mary Pigg Davis.

He was born Jan. 23, 1938, in Norristown, Pa., and was the son of the late Franklin Roland Longenecker Jr. and the late Lydia Roberts Longenecker. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Longenecker Froyer and brother John Gwen Longenecker.

Ruth Pasour Gryder, 94, of Cornelius, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010. Born September 26, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Minnie Maxwell Pasour and David R. Pasour. Ruth was the youngest daughter of a confederate veteran in Gaston County. Her father was a confederate soldier losing his arm at the Battle of Cedar Run in Virginia on Aug. 9, 1862.
