The Lake Norman Chamber last week bestowed its annual awards on local businesses and businesspeople, and named auto dealer Randy Marion as its Business Person of the Year. A total of 212 cyclist joined Saturday’s 16th annual Polar Bear Ride 50K and 100K bike rides that started from Ingersoll Rand’s campus off Beaty Street in Davidson. The ride had been rescheduled a week because of rain. Mother Nature provide wind and cold, with temperatures around freezing at the 10am start. Read the full story
