Indie rock band Passion Pit headlines this year’s spring concert at Davidson College this Sunday night, March 24, at Belk Arena.
Doors open at 6pm, with opening act We Barbarians at 7pm.
Passion Pit formed in 2007 in Cambridge, Mass., and has become popular on the indie rock scene. The group’s most recent album “Gossamer” examines subjects such as alcoholism and mental illness.
Passion Pit was chosen from among 45 artists after ranking No. 1 in a Fall 2012 survey of Davidson College students, a college spokesman said. The concert will be the first in Belk Arena since Maroon 5 in fall 2010.
