Davidson Town Board members will host another in their series of “community chats” on Tuesday night at the clubhouse in the Summers Walk neighborhood, off N.C. 73. The board also plans its annual goal-setting retreat Friday in Statesville. And town officials will gather downtown Wednesday to dedicate newly installed trash and recycling bins along Main Street.

Downtown recycling bin dedication, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 12:30pm, in front of Main Street Books, 126 S. Main St., Davidson – Citizens are invited to a ribbon-cutting ceremony with town and state officials to celebrate the installation of 11 new recycling/trash bins along Main Street. The project was funded in part by an $11,225 grant from the N.C. of Environment and Natural Resources Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance, and matching funds from the town.
