Mr. Nolan was GM at WDAV for 14 months. In a press release, the college said he “led a staff that executed several record-breaking membership campaigns, grew membership to record levels and helped reorganize the WDAV board to support station priorities.”
“We are sad to see Scott leave the Davidson family and wish him and his family well,” said Eileen Keeley, Davidson’s vice president for college relations, who oversees WDAV.

Sept. 27, 2011, “4-min. interview: WDAV’s new chief Scott Nolan”

I’ve volunteered for several membership drives at WDAV. It is always a pleasure to answer phones helping this great station & community asset thrive. Scott brought a fresh and enthusiastic energy to WDAV. On the occasions I met him his level of commitment and earnest regard for WDAV was large; he beamed WDAV. Reading that Scott is leaving WDAV brings me a sense of loss and sadness. Scott, best of luck to you and thank you for the good things you’ve done here.
