Davidson Police Chief Jeanne Miller will deliver a presentation at the monthly Town Board work session Tuesday on traffic enforcement and texting while driving. The board also is scheduled to discuss the idea of a left turn lane from southbound North Main Street onto Concord Road.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m., at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., Davidson.
The agenda also includes commissioner reports and more discussion of a proposed 2012-17 capital improvement budget for the town. Full agenda on the town website.

TOWN TO REQUIRE KAYAK RACK REGISTRATION
Starting October 1, 2012, all kayaks and canoes at the Lake Davidson Nature Preserve, off Jetton Street, are required to have a registered rack space and registration permit sticker, obtainable through the Town of Davidson Parks and Recreation Department. All other kayaks and canoes must be removed from the vicinity by September 30, to avoid being removed by the town.
