The Democratic National Convention in Charlotte Sept. 3-6 will attract a diverse army of delegates from around the country to Charlotte, including a higher-than-usual number of young people. Among them is 27-year-old Sam Spencer of Davidson, who also is president of the Young Democrats of North Carolina.
