“Mr. Ross returned home this morning. He is safe and appeared healthy,” Davidson police Detective Steve Ingram said late Monday.
Michael left home on foot Aug. 8 after an argument with his mother, Linda Ross. His mother told police she thought her son might be in Cornelius with friends. He also was spotted on Aug. 13 walking on Catawba Avenue in Cornelius.
Police did not think the boy was in danger, but issued an alert and circulated his photo asking for help in finding him.
See that alert in our original Aug. 20 news item, “Police seek help finding 16-year-old runaway.”
