The right lane of I-77 southbound in Mooresville and the Exit 36 (N.C. 150) ramp onto I-77 south will be closed this weekend as part of the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Brawley School Road widening project.
NCDOT will close the right lane on I-77 South near Exit 36 at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24. At 10 p.m., the ramp from N.C. 150 onto I-77 South will be closed. These closures will continue until Monday, Aug. 27, at 6 a.m. The ramps will tie into a new third travel lane on I-77 South between exits 36 and 35.
NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
