More than 1,700 Davidson College alumni and guests were on campus this weekend – about as many as attend during the school year – for the 2012 Davidson College reunions. Many stayed in college dorms as they attended lectures, dinners and outdoor concerts.
Major reunions were held for classes whose anniversaries fell in even 10s and 25s, including the Class of 1962, the oldest group, which celebrated its 50th.
For a nice whirlwind tour of Reunion Weekend, read John Syme’s latest Daybook column on Davidson.edu, in which he samples the food, intellectual discourse and music as well as gathering for Davidson sports supporters and the Gay-Straight Alumni Network.
