HUNTERSVILLE – The North Mecklenburg Republican Women will welcome radio talk show host Frank Roche as their keynote speaker June 12. Mr. Roach’s show airs on Rush Radio, 106.1 FM, and he has been called “talk radio’s chief economist.” He also ran in the 2012 primary race for Republican nominee for N.C. State Treasurer, but did not win.On air, Roche speaks about financial market economics, local and national public policy, national security, and international events. He holds a masters degree in economics, is a trained financial market economist and has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets with special expertise in the currency market. Roche is an accomplished currency trader and analyst, an adjunct professor of economics at Elon University, and a writer with expertise in monetary and fiscal policy.
Mr. Roche will discuss economic inflation at the NMRW dinner meeting Tuesday, June 12 at NorthStone Country Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville. He will address questions such as, why the increase in consumer prices? And, is hyperinflation coming?
“Each of us has our own basket of goods as we go through life, and each of us knows when the basket is more or less expensive and the impact it has on our personal savings and investments,” Roche said in a press release. “Yet, most of us don’t realize that we also each help to decide what the inflation rate is and will be.”
