The McIntosh Law Firm P.C. and Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville are offering a pair of free estate planning workshops titled “Are Your Ducks In a Row?” on April 24 and May 8, at the funeral home. Meanwhile, another of the area’s funeral homes, the newly opened James Funeral home in Huntersville, has an open house this Friday, April 20.

The workshops will run 6:30-8:00 p.m. both nights. Topics include estate planning, protecting your assets, preventing identity theft, improving your financial health, improving personal and home security. Speakers will include lawyers, advance planning funeral directors, financial advisers, police officers, computer security professionals, and health/nutrition professionals.

The newly opened James Funeral Home in Huntersville, run by funeral director Sam James, will have an open house this Friday, April 20.
The open house is 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville. The day will include food and tours of the facility throughout the day.
