Davidson College students returned to campus this weekend after what seemed like an extended break. And they got right back to the serious stuff Monday with lectures, a program for kids and discussions to remember the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr.
The events continue Tuesday with one more event, an evening program titled “Poetic Reflections of Social Justice.” At 8 p.m. in Lilly Family Gallery of Chambers Building, Davidson’s Free Word Poets will bring to life the historic voices of social justice through poetic expression. The program is free and open to the public.
