Wildcat men and women win, stay unbeaten in conference

Davidson College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams both won on Saturday, and both remained undefeated in Southern Conference play. In Greenville, S.C., the women beat Furman, 61-50, to go to 5-0 in the league.
At Belk Arena Saturday afternoon, Jake Cohen and De’Mon Brooks combined for 53 points to lead the men to an easy victory over Georgia Southern. The 96-74 win lifted the Cats to 4-0 in the league, and 10-4 overall.
