HUNTERSVILLE - The North Mecklenburg Republican Women welcome business consultant and author Dr. Timothy Daughtry as the keynote speaker at their Jan. 10 dinner meeting at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville.

A clinical psychologist, Dr. Daughtry uses principles from the behavioral sciences to demonstrate differences between liberal and conservative character and worldviews. His presentation at the NCGOP Convention in June drew high praise, according to NMRW organizers.
He also wrote with co-author Gary Casselman, Ph.D, the book, Waking the Sleeping Giant: How Mainstream Americans Can Beat Liberals at Their Own Game, due to be published in March 2012.
All men and women are invited to attend the dinner, that costs $20, payable by cash or check at the door. Registration begins at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner at 6:30. For reservations, email nomeckrw@gmail.com.

As a card-carrying Liberal who closely follows the present GOP presidential primary race, I heartily applaud the GOP women for recognizing their need to consult a clinical psychologist.
