The W.A. Hough High School PTSA is holding its first fundraiser of the school year Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Birkdale. The book store will donate a percentage of its sales during that time to the Hough PTSA.

During the fair, the store will have a special display with the high school’s assigned reading books, and students that attend the fair will get homework passes for the night from participating teachers.

Barnes & Noble will continue to donate a percentage of sales proceeds through Sept. 6. Customers should tell the cashier they would like the sale to benefit Hough High School, and online customers should use ID# 10539872.
