Charlotte Area Transit System will hold a series of public meetings this month on its proposed Countywide Transit Service Plan, a five-year plan for improving bus service in the county. A meeting in north Mecklenburg is planned Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at North County Regional Library.
CATS will be discussing a draft of the plan, which will cover 2013-17. It was developed after a series of 31 neighborhood and community meetings last fall that brought comments from the public and bus riders.
