Hundreds of members of Davidson United Methodist Church spread out throughout the area on Saturday, March 26, to work on community service projects as part of the church’s annual Great Day of Service.
Hundreds of volunteers worked on more than 40 service projects that ranged from landscaping at Ada Jenkins Center to working at Mooresville Soup Kitchen, to an outdoor cleanup at Davidson Cornelius Child Development Center.
T-shirt and bake sales also were held as well as a barbecue lunch. Proceeds were to benefit a Senior High Mission Trip to Costa Rica this summer.
