The county’s Future of the Library Task Force will present its final recommendations to a joint meeting of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Board of Trustees on Monday, March 21. The task force will recommend increasing hours and services at regional libraries, and ask the county for additional funding to help prevent closings at a half-dozen branch libraries, including Davidson and Cornelius.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in Conference Center Room 267 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center, 600 East Fourth Street, Charlotte.
