Transportation commission meets Wednesday

Bob Cook, director of the Mecklenburg Union Metropolitan Planning Organization (MUMPO), will discuss MUMPO’s transportation planning and approval process Wednesday night at the monthly meeting of the Lake Norman Transportation Commission.
The regional transit planning group includes representatives from Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson and Mooresville. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St.
The agenda also includes updates on the proposal for high-occupancy toll lanes on I-77 north of Charlotte, and CATS’ Village Riders. And Lake Norman Chamber’s Bill Russell and Karen Shore will give a report on “Lake Norman Identity.”
