Charlotte Observer “Naked City” blogger Mary Newsom was at Charlotte Mayor Anthony Foxx’s State of the City speech Tuesday. She reports that the Democrat and Davidson College grad has a few ideas for solving the region’s woes, including pushing discussion of consolidating city and county governments, and possibly raising limits on the number of charter schools.
