A throng of revelers packed Main Street and South Main Street Friday night for Day 2 of Christmas in Davidson 2010. The crowd included college students, retirees, families and other residents from in and around Davidson as well as from Charlotte and out of state. Brenda Barger was on duty Friday night with her camera to catch festival-goers, businesspeople and other sights.

LOST BACKPACK – A local parent sends this plea:
My son left his bookbag in front of Davidson Library late Friday night, Dec. 3, while at Christmas in Davidson. We’ve searched and think someone must’ve picked it up. No one has called his school (Davidson IB Middle School) to report it missing or turned it in. If found, please call 704-596-6242 or 704-778-8595 ASAP, as my son needs his school notes, papers, assignments.
