Christmas in Davidson takes over Main Street for the next three nights (Thursday to Saturday, Dec. 2-4), and if you’re driving into town for the festivities, you’re probably wondering where you’ll park.
Parking is available at the locations below, according to festival information published by town officials. Shuttles will ferry visitors to Main street from the Harris Teeter, the Davidson Cotton Mill, and South Main Square.

The festival runs from 6 to 9 p.m. nightly, and Main Street will be closed beginning late Friday afternoon, from Jackson Street north to Concord Road. Use Jackson and Delburg streets as a detour around Main Street.
Meanwhile, Main Street also will be closed Saturday for the North Mecklenburg Christmas parade. N.C. 115 (Main Street) in Davidson and Cornelius will be closed from around noon until around 3 p.m. during the parade.
CATS RIDERS’ ALERT
Because of the Saturday parade, Charlotte Area Transit’s Village Rider bus service will be detoured, affecting service to Cornelius town hall, Sadler Square shopping service and Main Street Davidson. Read the riders’ alert on RideTransit.org.
