Shannon Binns of Charlotte is founder and executive director of Sustain Charlotte, a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring, informing, and advancing sustainability across the Charlotte region. He also works for the Green Press Initiative, a policy organization that advances sustainable patterns of production and consumption within the U.S. book and newspaper industries.
