Libby Piercy

Libby Erickson Piercy, 71, of Davidson, died Sunday, Oct. 3.

She was born on August 11, 1939 to Augusta and Flora Erickson.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Piercy of Davidson; daughter, Loretta Piercy Lipford (Richard Gilbert) of Charlotte; grandchildren Adam and mother Mona Brown Piercy and Leeann. She is preceded in death by her husband Horace and son Clim.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Raymer Funeral Home, Huntersville. Burial will follow at Oak Grove UMC. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Susan G. Komen Foundation.
