“An employee was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on school grounds,” Jennifer Dean said in a robo-call to all Bailey parents.
Police departments from Cornelius and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools are investigating the matter.
“The employee is suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation,” Ms. Dean said.
The employee’s name has not been released.
“We are deeply concerned about this matter and the safety of our students,” Ms. Dean said.
