Davidson Farmer’s Market hosts another pre-holiday market this Saturday, Dec. 19, 9 a.m. to noon, off Main Street in the area next to Town Hall. The farmers and vendors will have seasonal produce – including carrots, greens sweet potatoes and winter squash, as well as dairy, meats, and baked goods for your holiday feast.
The market will be open, regardless of the weather. “Yes we’ll be there come rain, sleet or snow. This is a group of farmers, after all,” the market said in an email to customers.
If you’re looking for a unique gift this year, the market will have Davidson Farmer’s Market tokens. The $5 tokens will be accepted at the market year-round. They make a great stocking stuffer for avid market shoppers as well as those interested in learning more about eating locally.
