Our calendar this Thanksgiving week is sparse, but with some important highlights. Monday night at 7:30, Davidson Concert Choir performs Mozart’s “Requiem.” And on Wednesday morning, the town’s Jack Burney Community Service Award will be presented to this year’s winner, Jane Ellithorpe. On Wednesday, the Davidson College men’s basketball team plays its first home game, against Fredonia State. Also at the college Monday, the Bank of America lecture series continues with a talk on sustainability Paulo Sotero of the Brazil Institute at Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. And take note: Tuesday’s Town Board work session has been postponed.
