On this team, Europe trip and life after Steph Curry
Bob McKillop is in his third decade as basketball coach at Davidson College. The 2009-10 season may be one of the more challenging in recent memory, as the Wildcats begin life after Stephen Curry, the former national scoring leader who left after his junior year to join the NBA. But Coach McKillop has 10 returning letter winners, including several experienced seniors. He sat down this week with DavidsonNews.net’s David Boraks to talk about them, about their productive summer trip to Europe, and about the relationship between the Wildcats and their fans.

We’ve been following Davidson throughout Coach McKillop’s career, and are grateful for the way people affiliated with the college extend themselves to fans and loyal supporters who want to be part of the Davidson community.
His description of the “fabric” of the players and team conveys the type of leadership example Coach McKillop has set, the model he has built throughout his tenure at Davidson, and his expectations for players, and the community at large. He clearly lives his mission statement of “Commitment, Care and Trust.”
We applaud Coach McKillop, the Wildcats and the whole Davidson community!
