In a big weekend for Wildcat women, volleyball and field hockey also win
Updated Sat., 4:43 p.m. Davidson College’s women’s soccer team won its fourth straight game Friday night, beating UT Chattanooga, 4-2, in Chattanooga. Senior Kyri Bye-Nagel led the way with three goals. Meanwhile, the Wildcats’ volleyball team came from behind to beat Western Carolina, 3-2, at Belk Arena Friday.
The soccer team’s record now stands at 9-9 overall, 6-3 in the Southern Conference. The Cats remain continue their road trip Sunday at 2 p.m. with a game in Birmingham, Ala., at Samford.
On Saturday afternoon, Clare Perry and Jennie Mostellar combined for three goals and three assists to lead the Wildcat field hockey team to a 5-2 victory over Appalachian State at Belk Turf Field.
