Davidson’s men’s soccer team lost 3-1 to Coastal Carolina in final game of the Davidson Adidas Classic tournament at Alumni Soccer Stadium Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the volleyball team lost to Radford, 3-0, and Canisius, 3-1, in the Wildcat Classic tournament at Belk Arena on Saturday.
The soccer team’s loss to Coastal Carolina dropped the Wildcats to 2-1. They had beaten UNC Asheville, 2-0, in their opening game in the tournament Friday night.
In Sunday’s game, Charlie Reiter had Davidson’s only goal of the afternoon. Stapleton James had two goals for Coastal Carolina.
WOMEN’S SOCCER WINS
Davidson’s women’s soccer team beat High Point on Sunday, 1-0, on senior Kyri Bye-Nagel’s 23rd career goal. The Wildcats now have 3 wins and 4 losses on the season.
