How many kids can lay claim to this fame? Zoe Mae McClain Hutchings of Davidson is 9 years old today, on 9-9-09.
Zoe will be celebrating with her family, including mom Hannah Hutchings, dad Jonathan Hutchings, sister Mickey Hutchings, Aunt Elizabeth Thornburg (Ibba) and Nana Jo Thornburg. (Mickey turned 10 on Sept. 5.)
They’ll dine at her favorite Mexican restaurant, followed by chocolate cake with strawberry filling, with dark blue and dark purple flowers (at her request) made by Ashley Lawson.
When not celebrating illustriously-numbered birthdays, Zoe is a Junior Girl Scout in a local troop and is a student in Pamela Brunshwyler’s fourth-grade class at Davidson Elementary School.
