The MI-Connection cable system, formed in 2007 by the towns of Davidson and Mooresville, will hold a public celebration Saturday, Aug. 8, to celebrate completion of a $22.5 million system upgrade. The event will be held on the Village Green on Main Street in Davidson, 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., and feature family friendly activities including kid inflatables and a NASCAR simulator, live music by The Extraordinaire, prize drawings, free popcorn and SnoCones, and more.
The community will also be able to test drive new products and services available from MI-Connection.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments with the community in which we serve,” says Sandra Munsey, Director of Marketing for Mi-Connection, “MI-Connection offers state-of-the-art, reliable service offerings, at great rates that will benefit the residents of Davidson and the other communities in which we serve.”
For our previous coverage of the recent upgrade, which includes high-speed Internet access and Voice-on-Demand service, see our May 22 post, “Cable system completes upgrade.”
