Yvonne Deines, 70, of Davidson, died peacefully at the Brian Center of Statesville on June 25, 2009.

Born December 12, 1938, in Great Britain, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel Francis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel Duane Deines.

Mrs. Deines is survived by her children, Roger Lee Deines, of Houston, Texas, and Kim Elise Norton, of Winston-Salem, and grandchildren, Brittani Devon Grubb and Candace Nicole Lagle.

A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2009, from 1 – 2 p.m., at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, 494 E. Plaza Drive, Mooresville.
