A public meeting is planned in Davidson next Tuesday, May 19, on a proposal for a Lake Norman Regional Bicycle Plan.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St.
It’s one of three meetings planned this month by the Centralina Council of Governments, which is working with the state Department of Transportation to coordinate development of a regional bicycle route. The route would run on bike paths or on-road bike lanes circling Lake Norman through Mecklenburg, Iredell, Catawba and Lincoln counties.
The first of three meetings was Monday in Denver. A meeting is planned tonight (Tuesday) at 7 p.m. at Charles Mack Citizen Center, 215 N. Main St., Mooresville.
