United Family Services announcement

Many families are struggling financially due to the economic recession. Some are worried about filing for bankruptcy. If you are considering bankruptcy or are concerned it might be a necessity, United Family Services invites you to attend a free session May 11 on “Bankruptcy Myths and Realities.”

Beth Carter, a bankruptcy attorney with The McIntosh Law Firm in Davidson, will conduct the 90-minute session from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 11 at 9624 Bailey Road, Suite 290, in Cornelius. Light refreshments will be provided.

Among the discussion topics, Beth will provide explanations on what to expect if you file for bankruptcy, when someone should consider bankruptcy, and other options to explore.
