Eggstravaganza April 5SUNDAY, APRIL 5, 2-4 p.m., North Mecklenburg Park, – Annual Eggstravaganza egg hunt. Join Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville Recreation Departments at their annual Eggstravaganza. Bring your own basket and have fun searching for eggs, getting your face painted, visiting with Peter Cottontail and enjoying family entertainment. Davidson Parks & Recreation is offering a variety of programs for kids and adults in the coming weeks, from a 1-day American Red Cross babysitting course and Zumba dance fitness classes to a Teen Wii and Rock Band on the Wall night at Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and an Internet education session.
The department also is offering a Mike Minter Scholar Athlete program, to help young athletes prepare for college athletic and academic success.
