Davidson College basketball coach Bob McKillop held Stephen Curry out of practice Tuesday, as the star forward nurses a sprained ankle suffered in Saturday’s game against Furman. The question is, will he be well enough to play in the Wildcats’ Wednesday night home game against Citadel?
“We’re getting close,” McKillop said in a press release Tuesday evening. “It will be a game-time decision.”
Curry did participate in an individual workout Tuesday, according to the press release.
Curry sprained his left ankle midway through the second half of Davidson’s 75-60 Southern Conference victory at Furman Saturday afternoon and did not return. He drove down the right side of the lane and stepped on the foot of Furman forward Noah States.
Davidson hosts The Citadel Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Belk Arena in a Southern Conference game.
