The Metrolina Greenhouses Souper Bowl V raised more than $6,000 last Saturday, Jan. 31,  for Davidson Housing Coalition’s HAMMERS emergency home repair program. Local restaurants competed for best soups in town, with Maddi’s Southern Bistro delivering Best Overall Soup with a Sweet Potato Bisque. • Best Vegetarian Soup: Restaurant X’s Spinach & Parmesan Soup
• Most Creative Soup: Restaurant X’s Mulligatawny Soup
