Davidson’s women’s basketball team lost to Applachian State, 77-57, Saturday afternoon at Belk Arena. The loss dropped the Cats to 7-4 in the Southern Conference, 8-12 overall. The Mountaineers improved to 3-7 in the conference and 4-14 overall.
Davidson’s men are in action Saturday night at 7 when they host Wofford at Belk Arena. The Wildcats (15-3 overall, 8-0 in the Southern Conference) are looking to keep their long Southern Conference unbeaten streak going. They’ve won 38 straight since February 2006. Wofford is 7-8 overall this season, 3-3 in the league.
